SDA Sub-agency Builds Retaining Wall in Cililitan

The East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA) is building the Item River retaining wall in RW 06 and 07, Cililitan Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-district.

We will also build a jogging track here

"This retaining wall is built along 350 meters on the left and right sides of Item River, which crosses RT 04, 07, and 09/RW 06, as well as RT 08 and 10/RW 07," said East Jakarta Development Section Head, Tengku Saugi Zikri, Tuesday (8/12).

He explained, the retaining wall is built using gabion stones arranged in three layers has already been reinforced, starting on July 23, 2025, and is targeted to be completed by December 15.

"We will also build a jogging track here," he explained.

Kramat Jati Sub-district Vice Head, Diman added, the residents strongly support the construction of a jogging track.

"This has been socialized to the residents. Of course, they can enjoy this facility," he explained.

RW 06 Chairman, Cililitan Urban Village, Tawil R Pamungkas said, the socialization of the Item River retaining wall construction at Kramat Jati Sub-district Office went smoothly.

"Yesterday we discussed and agreed on the importance of constructing this retaining wall," he said.
